About
Welcome to the Denmark Good Food Factory, a charming culinary gem nestled in the heart of William Bay, Western Australia. Located at 2927 South Coast Hwy, this delightful establishment is not just a factory; it’s a hub of flavors, community, and good cheer. The friendly atmosphere combined with a diverse menu makes it a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.
At Denmark Good Food Factory, you’ll find an array of mouthwatering options, with standout dishes that include their renowned burgers. Customers rave about the delicious and filling burgers, often highlighting them as the best they've ever had. Among the various offerings, the brinjal chutney has also garnered love, promising to elevate any meal into an extraordinary experience.
Aside from the food, the factory boasts a range of delectable toffees, fudge, and unique condiments that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The vast selection of flavors, especially in their ice cream, makes it hard to choose, although some diners wished for tasters to better navigate the options. The factory is also equipped with a large playground for kids, making it an ideal spot for families looking for a leisurely lunch or an afternoon treat.
One of the highlights is the friendly staff, who are always ready to share their knowledge of dietary options, including gluten-free and vegan choices. This commitment to inclusivity is echoed in customer reviews, where many express their appreciation for the hospitable service received. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or indulging in an ice cream after a walk in the beautiful surrounding areas, the warm and relaxed vibe invites you to linger a little longer.
Of course, as with any dining experience, there are areas for improvement. A minor note for those visiting is the credit card surcharge, and while the food is generally well-received, some customers have cited it as decent rather than exceptional. Nevertheless, the overall ambiance and the joy of interacting with the local wildlife—such as feeding the peacock—enhance your visit.
In summary, Denmark Good Food Factory offers a fulfilling culinary experience, with an inviting menu, friendly service, and a picturesque setting. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, sweet homemade toffee, or simply enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, this establishment is a delightful stop on your journey through Denmark.
“ Really lovely atmosphere to eat outside, very dog friendly. I had a vegan beetroot quinoa burger which was really good, tasted all made in-house. They have a soccer golf for families to play which looked fun. I hope they’ll introduce more vegan options in confectionery and desserts. Definitely worth a stop in. ”
“ Wow, what an amazing place to have lunch and taste unique flavours. Great for gluten free and vegan options, and very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. The staff are so friendly and the menu has something for everyone. Can't say enough good things about this iconic Denmark attraction. We'll be back for sure ”
“ Enjoyed the best burger here. Very filling and enjoyable. Soccer golf was enjoyable to view as a spectators too! Insect repellent recommended. ”
“ I took my daughter and her family for lunch to this great spot. As always, the Smoke Shack burgers were awesome, along with the wedges and sweet potato chips. John, Jill and all the team do a wonderful job here. ”
“ Great toffee factory, with a huge selection of goodies. Huge and delicious burgers. A large range of toffee, fudge and condiments and a selection of massive icecreams. There is also a large kids playground, which is excellent. Well worth a visit for lunch or anytime for an ice-cream or for some local produce ”
“ The tastings were amazing, the staff were happy to let you try all of the things which encouraged us to relax and purchase a bunch of items. We grabbed some chips and nuggets for lunch, the nuggets were a bit overdone, but wasn't too bad for the money. ”
“ Loved our meal here - we got to feed the peacock & tried so many sauces & toffees. Love their brinjal chutney ”
“ Stopped by the Denmark Good Food Factory recently. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The setting was nice, with plenty of outdoor seating and a relaxed vibe. The food itself was okay—nothing particularly special, but decent enough for a casual bite. One thing to note: there’s a surcharge for using any credit card, which caught me off guard. Also, I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t offer any tasters for the ice cream, especially given the variety of flavours on display. All in all, a pleasant stop with lovely staff, but a few small things could be improved. Still worth a visit if you’re passing through the area. ”
